Lamborghini released the last Aventador supercar

The last Lamborghini Aventador supercar has just been shipped in Italy, ending more than 10 glorious years with 11,465 units sold around the world.

Lamborghini Aventador is the most prominent name of the Italian car company for more than 10 years. This supercar model appeared on the market in 2011 with a completely new V12 engine , outstanding looks and dozens of expensive things for the first time Lamborghini equipped.

But the end of a legendary supercar model has been confirmed by the Italian automaker by announcing the last Aventador produced. The aforementioned Aventador is the LP 780 -4 Ultimae Roadster version , finished in a specially personalized light blue Ad Personam paint. This supercar will reach a customer in Switzerland.

In fact, Lamborghini once announced to stop production of the Aventador model at the end of 2021 but was forced to restart production of this model earlier this year due to force majeure.

That's because the cargo ship Felicity Ace caught fire and sank into the sea on March 1, carrying more than 500 Aventadors. This caused a shortage of supply, so the Italian supercar company was forced to restart the production line to make up for it.

Looking back over 10 years of the Aventador, this supercar model sold more than all other V12 Lamborghinis combined. In total, Lamborghini has shipped 11,465 Aventadors in more than 10 different variants and some limited editions, such as the SC20.

The 11,465th Aventador supercar released recently has officially ended the brilliant era of this model to make room for a new model with a more suitable engine block. However, this has yet to be announced by Lamborghini.

Recently, Lamborghini said it will invest $ 1.8 billion in research and renewal of its car lines. This car company still persistently pursues its philosophy of developing internal combustion engines and "says no to electric supercars" at least until 2030.

Lamborghini may replace the Aventador with another supercar model with a more suitable new engine block in the near future.

Not only was it the last Aventador to ship, the car above was also the last naturally aspirated V12 that Lamborghini produced, ending an era of V12 engines that began in 1964 with the Lamborghini 350. GT and a series of other names like Miura, Countach and Diablo, ...

Lamborghini debuted the Aventador for the first time at the Geneva auto show, Switzerland in 2011 with the LP700-4 coupe version. The supercar is equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 engine with a capacity of 690 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. Aventador is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km / h in 2.9 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 350 km / h.
